Mileage102,691Service Date11/15/2024Services Performed- Technician test drove the vehicle, performed multipoint visual inspection, connected the vehicle system to a live data scanner, checked Oil, Fluids, Belts, Battery, Charging System, Tires, Brakes , A/C, and Heating System. After vigorous inspection, the technician diagnosed that the cylinder #3 has a misfire, and he needed 2 hours of labor authorization to remove intake manifold and other components to access the spark plugs and ignition coils, and our customer granted us the authorization for diagnostic. With this approval, our technician got to work and diagnosed that the cylinder #3's misfire is caused by POOR RESISTANCE of two other IGNITION COILS, and it will cause an INTERMITTENT SIGNAL and misfire. Cylinder # 3 coil would try to compensate a lack of voltage, therefor; it will over heat causing EROTIC BEHAVIOR. The technician then called our customer to COMMUNICATE AND NOTIFY HIM OF HIS DIAGNOSIS AND FINDINGS, and he approved replacing all ignition coils. So the technician ordered the coils, removed and replaced them, scanned the vehicle system, the misfire disappeared, changed oil and filter, replaced engine and cabin air filters, topped off fluids, adjusted the tires air pressure, and reset the maintenance light. Tire rotation is not possible to scattered tires, then he took the vehicle for a road test drive, no problem now.

Mileage91,713Service Date11/11/2024Services Performed- Technician test drove the vehicle, performed multipoint visual inspection, checked Oil, Fluids, Belts, Battery, Charging System, Tires, Brakes, A/C, and Heating System. Our technician noted Under Interior/ Exterior, there is no CODES or CHECK ENGINE light or warning light on, headlights, horn, wiper blades, parking brakes, turn signals are OK, all fluids are OK.Under hood, engine air filter, belts, hoses are OK but BATTERY has internal issuses, and SPARK PLUGS are gaped out and need to be replaced (at almost 92k miles). Under vehicle, the control arms, tie rods, ball joints, and steering gear are OK but front and rear STRUTS/ SHOCKS need attention as the bushings are torn, front and rear differentials are OK, and transfer case is OK as well, front and rear brake pads and rotors are OK but there is an OIL LEAK from the oil filter housing that needs attention. Under the tire inspection, front two tires are OK but the vehicle needs two rear tires. So our technician recommends to replace oil filter housing, upper and lower intake manifold gasket (in order to access the oil filter hosing, the intake manifold needs to be removed, and when its removed, gasket can not be reused), add coolant, replace spark plugs, add 2 new tires, and replace front and rear and rear struts/ shocks.

Mileage129,956Service Date10/24/2024Services Performed- Our technician did not want to test drive the vehicle due to the customer's concern of a "laud noise", So the technician racked the vehicle on a lift, performed multipoint visual inspection, checked Oil, Fluids, Belts, Battery, Charging System, Tires, Brakes, A/C, and Heating System. Our technician noticed the carboard under cover shield is gone , and the METAL SHIELD is hanging IN THE AIR and its loose while driving and causes a "loud noise" when hits a bump. Our technician secured it, and the customer asked for an OVERALL INSPECTION, and our technician did a through inspection for her , and noted his findings as follow: 1- Front & Rear brake Pads are at 3 & 4 mm respectfully. 2- Engine is leaking Oil from VALVE COVER GASKET, and the turbo system is wet with oil. 3- Spark Plugs are wet with Oil and contaminated. 4- Lower control arms front have broken Bushings, control arms come with ball joints. 5- An oil change is past due The customer DECLINED EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE VALVE COVE THAT IS LEAKING AND SPARK PLUGS THAT ARE WET WITH OIL. The customer chose to pay for this repair using 0% of SNAP FINANCING. So I sent her a link to fill out the credit application but after she got approved for $5000, she decided NOT TO use them , and stated she will pay for it out of her pocket. So with her approval, our technician ordered the parts, removed and replaced the valve cove gasket by removing intake manifold and other components, then removed and replaced the spark plugs, started closure of all components, checked for a basic safety, including leaking, turn the engine on, checked for any codes, test drove the vehicle, valve cover gasket leaking has diasppeared, spark plugs ignite well, no problem except those mentioned above that our customer Declined for now.

Mileage35,808Service Date10/15/2024Services Performed- Technician test drove the vehicle to understand the customer's complaint, AND SAW THE MESSAGE ON SCREEN CUSTOMER BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION, performed multipoint visual inspection, checked Oil, Fluids, Belts, Battery, Charging System, Tires, Brakes , A/C, and Heating System. The technician diagnosed that the brake pads front and rear are very low to a level that really need to be replaced (wear mark), and the brake rotors already have a "lip" and almost "metal on metal" and beyond this it may damage the calipers if not replaced. Our customer gave the technician approval to move forward to replace both front and rear brake pads, rotors, and sensors. The technician ordered the parts (all OE), removed, cleaned up and replaced them, checked and reprogrammed and/ or re calibrate the sensors, the check light is disappeared now, test drove the vehicle, the brakes are fine now.

Mileage67,713Service Date10/16/2024Services Performed- Technician test drove the vehicle to understand the customer's complaint, performed multipoint visual inspection, checked Oil, Fluids, Belts, Battery, Charging System, Tires, Brakes , A/C, and Heating System. After the customer approval to do the job recommendation from the last visit, the transmission was removed to replace REAR MAIN SEAL. Once the transmission was separated from the engine, it was noticed that the rear main seal WAS NOT leaking rather OIL PAN is leaking. Then the transmission was reinstalled without any charge to the customer for labor, and started to following the trail of oil leak to see where the leak was coming from. The visual inspection showed that the INTAKE and TURBOCHARGER system were leaking oil. The oil that was feeding into the turbo and INTAKE was the fault of VALVE COVER PCV system. The oil feed and oil return pipe have THICK SOT build up. So our technician is recommending to: remove and replace gasket, and clean intake manifold, complete replacement of valve cover itself, remove and replace exhaust Manifold Gasket, remove and replace oil feed and oil return pipes. Our customer approved the job recommendation to fix his vehicle, and our technician ordered the parts, all were available for the deliver in 4 days except valve cover in 10 days. When they all delivered, our technician removed and replaced them, checked for a basic safety and/ or leaking, added oil, coolant, recharged the a/c, turn the engine on, checked for any codes or check engine light, none were observed, took the vehicle for a road test drive, no problem now, except the OIL PAN LEAKING that we communicated with the customer, and he stated he had warranty from the shop he had done the oil pan work previously.

Mileage67,571Service Date10/5/2024Services Performed- Technician test drove the vehicle to understand the customer's complaint, performed multipoint visual inspection, checked Oil, Fluids, Belts, Battery, Charging System, Tires, Brakes , A/C, and Heating System. After careful inspection and scanning, our technician noted that the vehicle's front brake are at 5mm, caution point, and the front lower control bushings are broken, rear brake CALIPERS and brake line are leaking on the left side, engine timing cover is leaking oil, lower oil pan is leaking oil, brake fluid is low, and the spark plugs are starting to have a gap. The customer is from northern California, and does not have much time, and today is Saturday, she is leaving tomorrow, Sunday, so she approved only the most essential items to be repaired, the rear calipers and brake line on the left side. Our technician ordered the parts, removed and replaced them, checked for a basic safety, test drove the vehicle, its OK but oil leaking is every where.

Mileage122,703Service Date9/21/2024Services Performed- Technician performed multipoint visual inspection, checked Oil, Fluids, Belt, Battery Condition and Charging System, Tire Pressure, Brakes , A/C, Heating System. He noted the starter is weak and won't turn the engine, and he recommends to replace it. Our technician also noted that the vehicle has other issues: Rear main seal is leaking oil, and possible turbo oil lines as well, need full front and rear suspension work done for broken bushes and poor support, engine mount and transmission mounts are all broken. So the technician recommends engine and transmission mounts replacement, front and rear full suspension, rear main seal replacement, and right and left oil lines and turbo oil lines replacement. The customer declined all recommendation except the starter to get the vehicle going. So with our customer's approval, the technician removed and replaced the starter, test drove the vehicle, but lot of oil leaking, no power steering, bad front and rear suspension, rear main seal leaking.

Mileage67,505Service Date9/11/2024Services Performed- Technician rached the vehicle on a lift, performed multipoint visual inspection, checked fluids, Belt, Battery condition and charging system, tire pressure , A/C, heating system, brakes and oil. Our technician noted that he did not diagnosed the vehicle for charcoal vapor canister ( or emission issues) rather our customer requested us to get this part and replace it, and we received the part before the vehicle, and we communicated with customer that this falls on him if the replacement parts does not resolve the issue. Our technician noted that someone already replaced the oil pan, front timing cover and the valve cover. He also noticed a multiple profuse oil leaking from intake manifold gasket, rear main seal, turbo feed lines, a lot of Sot has build up around turbo cooling line, so need to check turbo making sure its not damaged internally. He also noted vehicle need an oil change as the oil quality is dark and dirty and oil quantity is very low. The customer gave us approval to do an oil change for now. So our technician recommends to replace intake manifold gasket, remove and replace valve cover itself ( because it has its own CRANKCASE VENTILATION) that comes with a gasket, remove and replace transmission assembly to access rear main seal that is leaking oil, check and inspect turbo feed lines to make sure is not damaged internally.

Mileage117,330Service Date8/15/2024Services Performed- Technician performed multipoint visual inspection, checked fluids, Belt, Battery condition and charging system, tire pressure , A/C, heating system, brakes and oil. Upon opening of the vehicle and removal of the oil pans, our technician had to discharge the a/c Freon, he then noticed that there are two oil leaks instead of only one, and because of inability to visualize, now that he opened it up, he sees two oil leaks: 1) one is from oil pan sensor that is inside the oil pan that he could see in which it has been removed, 2) and the second is coming from crank position sensor which is located on the block behind the a/c compressor that was not visible that has to be removed for additional 1 and 1/2 hour of labor as the a/c compressor has to be removed to access it, and need to replace both sensors. So our technician had to obtain the customer's approval to remove the a/c compressor and replace both sensors. Then he cleaned up and pressure washed the oil leaking areas, wiped and dried out the surroundings, removed and replaced both sensors, the oil pressure sender, and the camshaft position sensor, tested them, started closure, re-installed the components that had to be removed to access, recharged the a/c Freon back, added full synthetic oil, checked for basic safety, turned the engine on, let it run for a while, checked for any codes and / or leaking, test drove the vehicle, no problem now.
