- Technician performed multipoint visual inspection ,checked fluids, Belt, Battery condition and charging system, tire pressure , A/C and heating system, brakes and oil. Customer complaint of engine not running right, like misfire, scanned for codes and found misfire on cylinder #1. Checked compression, results 120psi. Checked ignition coil, injector and spark plugs for damages, found ignition coil for cylinder #1 not working. Note: to customer, ignition coils may fail at any time. Also check front brake pads are at 15% left of life. So our technician removed and replace ignition coil for cylinder #1 and removed and replaced front brake pads with customer authorization. Scanned the and tested, misfire was gone, test drove the vehicle and no problem now.
