    • Technician noted vehicle does not start, performed multipoint visual inspection, checked fluids, Belt, Battery condition and charging system, tire pressure , A/C, heating system, brakes and oil. Our technician diagnosed the engine will not turn oover when cranking. proceeded to turn the engine manually from the crank pulley but still the engine will not turn over. He determined the engine is CEASED. With the customer's approval, our technician ordered THE USED ENGINE, REMOVED WHEELS, ALL CONNECTIVITY AND COMPONENTS and prepared the vehicle for the engine swap. During component removal, the technician had to drop both engine and transmission from the bottom and had to remove the OIL PAN from the transmission and engine but since the engine was ceased and two of the pistones were broken, he could not turn the engine, and had to seperate the engine from the transmission and that needed more LABOR TIME that we had to notify the custome and get her approval. Also since the pistons were broken, the IGNITION COILS& the SPARK PLUGS were wet with oil and contaminated so we had to notify the customer at the same time for additional parts. So he finally separated the components and removed the engine and transmission from the vehicle. The technician swapped the engine and replaced the transmission, closed up all components and connectivity, checked for basic safety, added new oil and filter, added coolant, turn the engine on, waited for thermostat to kick in, checked and cleared any codes by connecting to scanner. The vehicle had very little Freon for a/c so he had to charge the a/c Freon. He then test drove the vehicle, there seems to be an issue with the tire pressure sensors, he checked and adjusted the air but still the light is on, and the vehicle needs 4 new tires.

    • Technician performed multipoint visual inspection, checked fluids, Belt, Battery condition and charging system, tire pressure , A/C, heating system, brakes and oil. Air down pipe to turbo, the rubber boot was not strapped correctly on the down pipe. The strap was only securing the turbo from grabbing too much air. The strap on the down pipe was laying on the inner cooler. The technician was able to reach the strap and install it correctly on the down pipe. The system was smoked to see if any other leaks was visible enough to cause rough idle, and none was present. Then the technician test drove the vehicle and live data showed no misfires or any abnormal emissions, and the vehicle is running fine now.

The technician noticed vehicle has the good tires in the rear so a tire rotation to put them to the front is needed, also engine and cabin air filters are dirty and dark in addition to an oil change the customer came in for. So with the customer's approval, he changed oil and filter, replaced air filters and rotated the tires, topped off fluid, reset the maintenance light.

Our technician diagnosed as a result of the collision customer had, the front seat belts RETRACTOR got damaged and need to be replaced. Also the driver side ROOF AIR BAG got damaged, and it was not replaced. With our customer's approval, the technician ordered parts, removed and replaced including the removal of the center console to reach the air bag module. inspected and tested them, they are working now.

    • The vehicle was towed to our shop, and the customer did his own diagnostic, and he wanted us NOT TO TAMPER AND WORRY ABOUT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR THE OTHER ISSUES ON HIS VEHICLE AS HE PLANS TO SELL THE VEHICLE. HE WANTED US TO CHECK IF the problem is THE STARTER OR IF THE ENGINE HAS CEASED. Technician performed multipoint visual inspection, Belt, Battery condition and charging system, tire pressure , A/C, heating system, brakes and oil. Our technician removed a few components out of the way, checked and noticed the engine HAS NOT CEASED but the issue is the STARTER. So he ordered, removed and replaced the starter, changed oil ( with the customer's approval) to find out if there is any coolant in engine, and sure enough there was a half a gallon coolant in the engine that we showed it to the customer.The technician determined that the vehicle has a BLOWN HEAD GASKET AND OIL COOLER ISSUES, AND THE ENGINE HAS A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON THAT THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT US TO CHECK. We gave the customer an ESTIMATE to rebuilt the engine and check for any bad PISTONS, P. RODS, P. BEARINGS, REMOVE OIL PAN SO WE CAN CLEAN UP ALL THE CONTAMINATION OF COOLANT AND THE ENGINE OIL

    • REPAIR, FIX AND RESTORE THE WIRING CONNECTIONS TO THE STARTER THAT WAS DAMAGED

Our technician diagnosed that brake rotors are very thin, and making noise. Also the only rear brake pads are bad as well. At this point he recommends to replace both front and rear brake rotors and rear brake pads. The customer did not have financial means until next week but she wanted to replace these today. So we offered her outside financing in which she did take it. The technician ordered the parts, removed and replaced them, inspected them, test drove the vehicle, no more noise, its fine now.
    • Replace front brake pads linings and front brake disc rotors. Clean and repack wheel bearings if equipped. Clean and lubricate brake calipers and slide mechanisms. Check and fill brake fluid. Bleed air from system. Road test vehicle.

Our customer came in to take care of valve cover leaking oil and a tune up that our Technician diagnosed last month on 02/12/2024. So our technician ordered the parts with the customer's approval, removed the intake manifold to reach valve cover gasket and the spark plugs for tune up. no oil change this time as we changed it last month. The Technician cleaned the throttle body, changed the spark plugs, removed the VVT, and replaced the valve cover gasket. He then checked and inspected the re-installed parts, checked for any possible leaking, no codes either, test drove the vehicle, no leaking no problem now.

    • Technician test drove the vehicle, performed multipoint visual inspection ,checked fluids, Belt, Battery condition and charging system, tire pressure , A/C and heating system, brakes and oil. The vehicle is 2k miles is past due an oil change, front struts are bad ( hence customer's complaint), an alignment. At 108 k miles, it needs a set of spark plugs, engine and cabin air filters, and it needs a tire rotations as the rear tires are the good ones. Customer approved everything except an oil change. So our technician removed and replaced front struts w/ coils ( strut assembly), removed and replaced all spark plugs , engine and cabin air filters and rotated the tires. After the work was done, we sent the vehicle to Carlos for an alignment. The our technician took the vehicle for a road test drive, no issue now except the oil change is past due.
